1924-BEKELE MOLLA, a 12yr old bare-footed young boy with a capital of only 16 Birr ventured into the world of business equipped with nothing but his ever burning passion for work and faith in God!

BEKELE MOLLA, after spending years selling eggs, entered the Hospitality industry in 1942, by opening his first hotel in Modjo. Ever since Bekele's chains of hotels and motels continued to bedeck the Ethiopian Rift Valley towns and key resort areas becoming the first Ethiopian to ever construct a string of Hotels from Debrezeit -to Moyalle ( Ethio-Kenya cross border )

Ever since those early pioneering days, BEKELE MOLLA and the people of Ethiopia, have remained comrades in arms and engaged in the spirit of development and ‘Nation Building’ and has made tremendous contribution towards the development of the hotel & tourism sector in Ethiopia

Ever expanding today, the name BEKELE MOLLA can virtually be called the host of the rift valleys, at the valleys colorful tourist threshold. Besides its commercial activities, BMH has been involved in supporting communities in its operating localities and has served as a training platform for numerous local youth. Many have gone to establish their own small businesses in nearby market towns.

Delivering valuable services at affordable prices, to the Ethiopian public, have and will always remain BMH’s main objective. Because BMH considers these activities (commercial and community support) as part and parcel of its mission, it doesn’t feel they should be singled out for public mentioning.
